Busta Rhymes, are you getting a fair shot? TMZ.com reports that he was stopped by police and admitted to having a shot of Hennessy before hopping behind the wheel of his Denali. The arrest report that TMZ obtained stated that Rhymes failed the sobriety test, but only blew a 0.067 later at the police station, which is below the legal limit of 0.08. He was reportedly charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle while impaired.

Even though Paris Hilton really isn’t much of a music celebrity, she made the celebrity gossip hit list by getting sentenced to 45 days in jail for driving with a suspended license. She had the nerve to show up to court 20 minutes late powdering her nose. The judge put the clueless blonde in her place by sending her to the clinker.

TMZ is reporting that they have recently acquired a lawsuit that was filed by the husband of the woman who was killed in a car accident that involved former pop princess Brandy. This is her second lawsuit on that accident. The suit claims that Brandy was traveling too fast for conditions, driving recklessly and carelessly and following too closely. The suit is for an “undisclosed amount,” but the woman’s parents are suing Brandy for $50 million. If this is any indication of what the husband is seeking, that girl needs to hire a chauffeur or stay off of the road.

Well, this is definitely a “hmmmm” moment and conjures up some interesting (if not disturbing) mental pictures. PerezHilton.com has some juicy info. It seems that passionate sister kissing James Haven, brother to multiple foreign kids adopting, blood vial wearing Angelina Jolie, is seeing Rebecca St. James. Now, if you are not moving in “those” circles you may not realize that St. James is a Christian pop singer. Maybe Angie will adopt her and then it will be OK.

TMZ says that Rush & Malloy says that Usher is preparing to fire his own mother, the woman who GAVE HIM LIFE, raised him and has been his manager from the very start. They reportedly do not get along, but it is said that Usher’s stylist and (surprise) fiance, Tameka Foster is egging it on. Usher’s rep is denying the rumor, but let’s face it, this seems like it happens more than we’d care to admit.

Out In London Last Night…

Last night London certainly had its fair share of celebrities out on the town.

First we caught up with X Factor judge Louis Walsh who was all smiles when we spotted him doing some Christmas shopping with a mystery male companion on Kensington High Street.

After that we headed over to the Mayfair Hotel where we bumped into Kelly Brook, Freddie Ljungberg, James Nesbitt, Ronan Keating, Elton John and last but not least David Furnish. Oh and Louis was there as well, he certainly gets around doesn’t he?!

Amy Winehouse has been helping to look after patients at the private clinic she’s staying at in London.

The Back To Black singer has been staying at the rehabilitation centre for almost three weeks, but she nearly got chucked out recently after a visit from Blake sent her back to her old binging ways. So in a desperate bid to stay in their good books, Amy has been helping the nurses to look after patients by serving them meals. A hospital insider revealed:

“She has been charming the nurses by helping them with their tasks. She’s been mucking in.”

Russell Brand is back in London, and he’s up to his old tricks. After going to the Bedtime Stories premiere in Kensington last night, where he snubbed journalists on the red carpet, the comedian headed to Vendome in Mayfair.

Sitting in the VIP area of the club, Russell selected a bevy of beauties to come and sit with him. An onlooker revealed:

“His booth was crowded with attractive girls, but Russell spent most of his time chatting to a striking brunette. They were huddled up close and he was whispering in her ear.”

Though Russell made a big show of walking past photographers by himself at 2am, the cheeky star managed to smuggle a whole group of girls home with him. A source revealed:

“Russell called it a night just before 2am. He made of point of appearing to leave alone, but his security team had already bundled three girls, including the brunette, into his car.”

If you’re searching for an obscure gem, Movie Link has the largest catalogue online. Their new releases are usually $19.99 and their better catalogue choices $9.99.

CinemaNow is the only service to have managed a film release simultaneously with the DVD release, which they accomplished with “Too Fast Too Furious.” They also will provide the ability – for a price – to burn selected downloads to a DVD. Their licensed partners include Disney, Fox, Lionsgate, NBC Universal, Sony, and Warner Bros. Their prices for new releases range from $14.99 to $19.99 and their catalogue charge is $9.99.

Guba is the bargain download shop, with a library built on deals with Warner and Sony. They began originally as a Usenet service provider, and feature a Usenet uploads in their onsite search. Their prices top out at $9.99.

While Netflix has been talking about getting into the download business for two years, their service remains in the planning stage. They’re going to be challenged when they make the transition from DVD to computer file, as many of the major movie houses have tied up their download rights in services that are their own creations, such as Movie Link or services in which they are partners.

The computer-driven movie-on-demand service is on the scene, and many think it will be the format of choice in a few years. A top end PC is capable of being a highly functional entertainment center, and the convenience of true on-demand films is going to overshadow even the most sophisticated cable TV on-demand services, as compression technology improves and download times drop.
